Description
Book a Durable Wardrobe Repair Pimp for private groups or a public event. To give your favorite garment a second life, anyone can bring clothes that need repair or upgrade. During the workshop event, we will transform used clothes into contemporary items with an individual touch.
Pepavana will teach participants a durable application technique to decorate & upgrade their garments. Create everything imaginable, like a tableau, a text, an image, or a pattern motif. Pepa will bring her sewing machine for repairs and fix whatever is necessary.
The workshop is suitable for kids and grown-ups.
What we do during the event:
- Repair: fix or patch your item; sew loose seams, patch up holes or adjust the size.
- Transform: change your item by cutting and re-assembling, mixing with other pieces, etcetera.
- Pimp; make an application on your garment; create your signature!
What you need to prepare:
Set up a table big enough for everybody to sit at
Electricity nearby the table
Garments to decorate
One ironing board
What we bring along
Pepavana will provide all materials, textiles, ribbons, graphites, scissors, etcetera.
We collect ideas, draw images, cut out, and then fix the cut-outs onto the clothing with an iron. Pepavana has over ten years of experience with similar textile workshops for different groups of kids or adults, private or public, in all locations, indoors and outdoors. Note: the workshop price is inclusive of a traveling time of a maximum of 30 minutes to and from the location. When it exceeds, you pay extra.
