The story about the felt knapsack: The Esther Bag
Inspired by Esther’s bag wishes, I designed a slim fit knapsack that is ideal for city trips. She insisted that I used the natural wool felt, and I can say it was a smart choice; Apart from the classy look, the three-millimeter wool felt, guarantees quality and durability. The bold fabric is reliable, but not too stiff; therefore, the bag adapts oneself to the body when in use as a backpack.
Smart shape
The Triangulum side parts define the bag. This shape offers enough space for A4 documents and personal belongings while keeping a slim appearance.
Ease the leatherback straps to a minimum and catch the handbag by its shorter handles on the top. You will discover that the two handles are indispensable when you want to open the bag with its all-around zipper for easy access to the main compartment and inner pockets.
Pre-washed
As you might know, wool is dirt and water repellent. A gentle brushstroke will do fine for muddy splatters. In case you do need to wash your Esther Bag, no problem, it is pre-shrunk. Use (olive) soap and hot water and rinse thoroughly. Model the bag and let it dry. Iron from the inside when it is still moist, then it will get that smooth & smart shape again.
