The eye-catching seams on the outside define the bag. The Unicum Layers Bag has one inner pocket with a zipper and handles from recycled leather. This item has the original blanket label Unicum still attached in the front. Made in the Netherlands from 100% virgin wool.

Handmade with love
For this particular bag we cut the parts of 11 different vintage blankets and sewed layer for layer by hand together before assembling the bag with the sewing machine. After that we trim the seams straight to create that layered look on the edges. Then we wash & felt the bag with hot water and olive soap, rinse it well with cold water, and spin-dry it to get rid of most the water, mould it in shape and let it dry over night. The next day the leather handles are treated with dubbin.
